Our teacher training will touch the very heart of yoga and empower you to access the many layers hidden in its depths. This is no casual endeavor… as a group of inspired yogis, we will go deep, excavating the core truths of yoga, in practice and theory, revealing their meaning in our lives.
This is an inspired path for practitioners who are ready for their next step… chances are, you already know that you are.
Our team of experienced instructors will help you gain the confidence and leadership skills to become an effective and knowledgeable yoga teacher, tapping into your unique voice with newfound courage. You will learn to teach a solid, connected class to eager students with expertise and grace. When you experience the thrill of guiding a roomful of fellow yogis through a well designed class, you’ll know you were meant for this. Are you ready?
If you don’t want to teach that’s alright. Our 200-hour training will transform your personal practice and is an ideal way to delve further into the study of yoga.
The Red Dragon Yoga team has decades of yoga experience and are passionate about sharing it with you. Our esteemed faculty has trained and mentored countless yogis who are now renowned leaders and teachers, as well as yoga studios owners. Join us for one Thursday evening and five weekend-long intensives over 12 weeks in San Rafael, CA just 15 miles north of San Francisco, CA.
Our 200-hour Teacher Training Curriculum includes:

- Full explanation of Asana (alignment, benefits and potential risks)
- Sanskrit names of Asanas
- Anatomy & Physiology principles
- Assists- Hands-on adjustments
- How to observe bodies
- Variations & Modifications

- Build your confidence by practice teaching

Training Dates & Times:
Meets the following 5 weekends (over 12 weeks)
Fridays | 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Saturdays & Sundays | 7:30 am – 6:00 pm

Students are required to take 16 classes throughout the duration of the program to experience different styles, levels and methodologies.
