Becca began her practice of yoga and meditation during her freshman year of college in 2000, hoping to offset the stress of the fast-paced Los Angeles lifestyle. From her first instruction in breath and pranayama, she was hooked!
“Yoga brought me not only greater physical strength and health,” says Becca, “but the ability to operate from a place of deeper truth and authenticity. I’ve also learned to soften, slow down and deepen my relationships with others and with myself.”
Since college, Becca has artfully combined a career as a yoga instructor with her education in Child and Adolescent Development and her continuing post-graduate work in Education. She has completed over 500 hours of yoga teacher training since 2008, and throughout her graduate level training completed an apprenticeship with Nikki Estrada and workshops with Rod Stryler, Vinyasa Flow with Vinnie Marino, and ViniYoga with Gary Kraftsow. In addition to teaching yoga to adults, she gets great joy in leading classes and workshops for children, pre-adolescents and teenagers.
“Teaching yogis has been the greatest privilege and most humbling learning experience for me yet. My students are, by far, my greatest teachers and inspiration!”
